Summary of the Position

:

The Accounts Receivable Associate applies cash to customer accounts, creates deductions, and prepares keyed checks for imaging. The A/R Associate also works in partnership with another A/R associate daily.

Functions of the Position

:

Applies payments received via lock box and EFT daily.
Creates deductions, attaches all supporting documentation and forwards to the Deduction Analysts for further processing.
Prepares documents for imaging.
Processes checks received via daily mail. Prepares deposits and processes them for input.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

:

Education, Experience and Knowledge

:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
One year of Accounts Receivable experience preferred.

Skills and Competencies

:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computer, word processing, spreadsheet, and 10key adding machine.
Good math aptitude.
Detail oriented and with good organizational skills.
