Description

The Sommerberg is a facility for child, youth, family, and integration assistance.

For our services at schools (assistance for education at special schools, inclusion support in the pool) in Cologne Mülheim, we are looking for a social worker, social or special education teacher (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

(15-18 hours per week), initially on a fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanent employment.

You bring with you

As a team player, you have

a degree in social or special education or a comparable qualification
experience in social work with a focus on youth and social pedagogical family assistance
knowledge in group work and individual support for children and adolescents
a needs- and resource-oriented working style
creative, artistic, or athletic engagement
flexibility, independence, and a sense of responsibility
enjoyment in working with people

Job description

You will support students with special needs as part of inclusion support and open all-day care. You will assist students in establishing and maintaining relationships with classmates and teachers, and provide individual support for social, emotional, and cognitive learning.
