- Collaborate with HR leadership to establish a comprehensive benefits philosophy.
- Create and execute benefit strategies aligned with company goals while catering to different corporate needs.
- Research and propose program enhancements to optimize employee experience with personalized benefit offerings.
- Administer health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and paid time off.
- Provide education and guidance on health and welfare topics to employees.
- Analyze and update benefit policies to ensure efficiency, compliance, and best practices.
- Manage 401(k), Deferred Compensation, and other benefit plans.
- Oversee leave programs and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
- Prepare data for compliance testing, plan audits, and filings.
- Lead benefits pricing and design reviews.
- Manage relationships with consultants and suppliers to uphold service standards.
- Process department vendor payments and reconciliations.
- Oversee vendor performance and participate in the renewal process.
- Lead annual open enrollment and communicate plan changes.
- Stay updated on legal requirements and ensure benefit plan compliance.
- Enhance benefit administration processes for efficiency.
- Provide expertise on benefits issues and regulatory compliance.
- Execute additional assigned duties.
- Supervise a team of employees.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience
- Preferably hold an advanced degree
- 8+ years of progressive Benefits experience
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Solid mathematical aptitude
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively in a team
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail
- Diverse physical requirements including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and vision abilities
- May need to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Work environment typically has low/moderate noise levels
