- Collaborate with production team, equipment maintenance, and process engineering to improve production equipment productivity, reliability, safety, performance and ergonomics
- Take ownership of design improvement projects from concept to implementation including validation, documentation, SOPs and training.
- Create, update, organize, and maintain all documentation
- Manage release of documentation for projects
- Specify replacement parts for obsolete and unavailable production equipment. Process as necessary through the change management system
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering,
- 5-8+ years of directly related experience in a Manufacturing/Equipment environment
- Experience with a variety of motors and pumps
- A self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in the use of SolidWorks and AutoCad programs
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills with the ability to clearly explain concepts and solutions
- A critical eye for Safety and improvements in all areas of responsibility
- Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project)
- A desire to be hands-on
- Experience with the production of membranes
- Experience with predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermo-imaging, etc.)
