    Water's Edge Dermatology, an AQUA Dermatology portfolio practice, is Florida's largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the Southeast, offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care, and radiation oncology.

    From common rashes to skin cancer treatments, plastic surgery procedures to an array of vein treatments, no case is beyond our experience and expertise

    The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for managing the Front Desk staff and ensuring that the patients have an exceptional experience at the assigned practice location.

    Essential Functions

    Adheres to the Water's Edge Mission Statement, Credo and Service Goals and Values providing exceptional customer service at all times.

    Ensures outstanding patient care at all times, maintaining a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
    Supervises front desk staff ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and practices and delegates front office tasks.
    Resolves patient issues, complaints, problems in a quick and efficient manner.
    Builds strong relationships with staff, providers and patients, keeping an open line of communication.
    Keeps Referring Primary Care Physicians informed of treatment plans for mutual patients.
    Tracks cosmetic and office inventory ensuring proper level of stock is always available.
    Manages staff timecards ensuring all staff times are correctly reported.

    Assists front desk staff in completing all assigned tasks and responsibilities as needed or fulfills role of Front Desk Receptionists as required.

    Ensures patients are informed when providers are running late and expected wait times during check in.

    Responsible for making sure office patient schedules are full and when openings exist ensures calls are made to patients on waiting lists or future schedules to fill time slots.

    Works well in a team environment to accomplish common tasks in a collegial manner.
    Supervisory Responsibility
    This position supervises assigned front desk receptionists.
    Travel
    Travel is expected for this position.
    Required Education and Experience

    High School Diploma or equivalent
    Dermatology experience is preferred
    2 years of Supervisory experience in a Medical environment

    Must be able to work well independently but ask for help when needed
    Must have an understanding of dermatology office protocol and procedures
    Must have the ability to use applicable technology and systems
    Must have the ability to effectively lead a team in a dermatology office
