- People - e.g. human trafficking prevention, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, community outreach
- Planet - e.g. Choice's climate strategy, environmental initiatives supporting our hotel portfolio, responsible sourcing
- Performance - e.g. corporate and Sustainability governance, risk management
- Supporting our efforts to reduce single-use plastics at our hotels
- Helping with the relaunch our volunteer and matching gift portal to drive engagement with our 1,600 associates, providing them meaningful opportunities to support our communities. Defining the communication strategy around the relaunch of the portal.
- Helping roll-out a new sustainability training aimed at supporting our hotels, in partnership with our Brand Operations Department.
- Closely partnering with other key stakeholders such as the Brand Operations Department, the Digital Department and more.
- Taking an active role in our Green Team Employee Resource Group
- Additional work / project work as assigned
- Experience in project management is a must
- On-site (Minneapolis, MN-based)
- At minimum, Junior and Senior undergraduate students working towards a Bachelor's degree.
- Trustworthy with sensitive and confidential information.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Eager to learn, positive attitude, highly motivated.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in the hospitality industry, helpful but not required.
