Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage, or supervise something that will remain:
the infrastructure for future generations.

We are currently looking for you as an electrical engineer and planning engineer for signaling technology (LST) (m/f/d) for DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH at our location in Hamburg, starting as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

As a planning engineer, you are responsible for planning services for small, medium, and complex construction projects.
You are responsible for the renewal of interlocking systems and level crossings with proven technology (e.g. electronic interlocking systems) and future technologies (e.g. digital interlocking systems), as well as for the train control system ETCS.
Your tasks include carrying out the planning while adhering to cost, schedule, and quality requirements for phases 17 & 9 of the HOAI (German fee structure for architects and engineers), as well as coordinating interdisciplinary planning.
You support the development of feasibility studies and provide input for constructionrelated regulations.
You coordinate the acquisition of internal approvals and authorizations on a casebycase basis.
You participate in the calculation of planning services and support signaling
