    Our team in the US is growing. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the Tucson office.

    We are seeking someone with a mineral processing and hydrometallurgy background with experience in studies, construction, commissioning and operations.

    About the role

    • Leading process design during studies, basic and detailed engineering project phases
    • Provide technical support of process design work including calculations, drawings and testwork
    • Budget and resource forecast management for the process study scope
    • Interface with other engineering disciplines to deliver best practice process design
    • Liaise and contribute to the Global Ausenco Process Team
    • Expected to stay abreast of latest process technology developments
    • Design innovation / lean thinking into process designs
    • Represent Ausenco's Corporate image (marketing and conferences)
    • Demonstrate leadership in industry safety protocols
    About You
    • At least 10 years of mineral processing experience with base metal and precious metal, preferably with proven field experience (construction, commissioning and/or operations)
    • Experience with EPCM studies and projects and a minimum of 5 years in a consulting engineering capacity
    • Ability to effectively translate field and engineering experience to other process staff and design activities
    • Leadership abilities including project management skills, lead design role capability and supervisory skills
    • International experience will be favoured
    • Demonstrated capacity to align with Ausenco's corporate culture and Client base business cultures
    • Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
    • PE registration in Arizona preferred
