    Summary

    As the lead in pre-sales/sales engineering for Cloud and Infrastructure Services at DXC, you will play a crucial role in supporting revenue growth and market expansion efforts by the sales teams. Your responsibilities involve shaping and executing strategic pre-sales activities with markets and partners to enhance valuable capabilities across the business and geographies. By understanding market dynamics and service offerings, you will drive outcomes that contribute to business success while collaborating with sales professionals to achieve growth targets.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    Pre-Sales Expertise:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive pre-sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives, focusing on driving revenue growth in cloud and infrastructure services.
    • Identify target markets, segments, and verticals, and devise tailored approaches to expand market share.
    • Collaborate with the global sales leader to execute long-term strategic plans for the growth of cloud and infrastructure services.

    Sales Pipeline Support:

    • Provide necessary support to the sales pipeline, continuously adapting strategies to meet varying sales cycle demands.
    • Implement best practices for pre-sales to ensure consistent progress towards sales targets.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, comprehending their business needs, challenges, and goals.
    • Work with clients to create customized solutions tailored to their requirements and delivering measurable business value.

    Market Analysis:

    • Stay informed about emerging trends, customer preferences, competitive challenges, and growth prospects.
    • Utilize market insights to align sales strategies and go-to-market plans.

    Sales Enablement:

    • Lead sales enablement initiatives, providing training, tools, and resources to empower the sales team with the necessary knowledge and skills for success.
    • Continuously educate customers and the sales team by maintaining an expert-level understanding of products, pricing, and market differentiators.

    Team Leadership:

    • When necessary, mentor and motivate a high-performing pre-sales team, offering guidance and assistance for individual and collective achievements.
    • Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement within the sales organization.
    • Establish key performance metrics and sales targets for the cloud and infrastructure services division, while monitoring progress towards these goals.
    • Analyze sales data, pipeline metrics, and other important indicators to recognize trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and education combination.
    • Typically, 12+ years of industry experience, with at least 4+ years in a similar role.
    • Demonstrated success in pre-sales and sales enablement roles.
    • Solid understanding of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, along with experience in leading cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for fostering business growth.
    • Proficiency in sales strategy development, customer relationship management, and market analysis.
    • A continuous learner who keeps up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements.
