    Position: Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney

    Location: Miami or Fort Lauderdale FL

    Type: Full-Time [On-Site]

    The client is a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm with a national practice, seeks an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate for its' South Florida offices - either in Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

    Qualified candidates will have requisite experience in litigating first-party property damage insurance claims.

    • We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage and prioritize caseloads while handling complex matters. Job duties will include legal research; pleadings, motions, and discovery; depositions and examinations under oath; and rendering opinions on liability, damages and the value of a case.
    • Candidate must be a motivated, self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fun, collaborative environment.
    • The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality client service, be able to identify and resolve problems promptly, be conscientious concerning work completion and deadlines, and be detail-oriented.
    • Experience with general commercial litigation is a plus.
    • Candidate must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and be able to travel as required for trials, hearings, depositions, and re-inspections.
