Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Software Architect to work onsite in Fort Washington, MD. As the Senior Software Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape.

Responsibilities include engaging with the enterprise architecture team to analyze and design the platform, with a focus on integration and dataflow.

You'll create models for the structural, conceptual, and behavioral aspects of business processes and their supporting systems.

Additionally, you'll compile and coordinate requirements guiding the development of the Enterprise Network and Services Utility (ENSU) and hosted Mission Applications.

Your understanding of current development, testing, and operational networks within the USCC will enable you to evaluate technical solution proposals and provide integration recommendations for both existing and future technologies.

Operational and strategic support for modernizing and enhancing the Development Pipeline is also part of your role. Lastly, you'll maintain electronic records in an approved shared location.

Stay up-to-date on cutting-edge technologies impacting Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO), including areas like Platform as a Service (PaaS), hardware advancements, software innovations, development techniques, and internet protocols.

Familiarity with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and their associated Software Development Kits (SDKs) will allow you to assess their compatibility with external components such as access/connectivity infrastructures and tools.

Understanding dataflows within the Department of Defense (DoD) and knowledge of existing frameworks related to data movement are essential for success in this role.

Skills and Requirements

At least one year experience working in GovCloud, C2S, or other Government-owned cloud environment

Proficiency in system analysis and design using Unified Modeling language (UML) documentation within the last 3 years

Currency on leading technologies that affect OCO platforms such as Platform as a Service (PaaS), hardware, software, software development techniques, and internet protocols

Understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (API) and associated Software Development Kits (SDK) to evaluate interoperability with external enabling components, e.g.

access/connectivity infrastructures, tools

Familiarity with dataflows within the DoD or IC and with the existing frameworks and concepts associated with moving data to support existing analytic and storage capabilities

Knowledge of the policies governing unclassified and classified cloud environments

Experience either leading or as a developer under an agile software methodology such as SAFe or SCRUM

TS/SCI and active Counterintelligence (Cl) or Full Scope Polygraph granted within the last 4 years null
