    Description

    General Purpose:

    Plans, directs and coordinates financial, accounting, and administrative activities of the facility.

    Essential Duties:

    • Responsible for financial management and processes for two separate entities - a golf club and HOA.
    • Implements and adheres to policies and procedures for the Accounting function, ensuring compliance with company accounting standards.
    • Oversees accounting and administrative controls to safeguard company assets and prevent theft and internal fraud.
    • Prepares and monitors annual budgets, tracks revenue goals, and provides various business volume forecasts.
    • Analyzes accounting reports, prepares financial statements, and conducts revenue audits for departments.
    • Manages property cash flow, coordinates vendor payments, and assists with year-end books closing and audits.
    • Establishes accounting protocols, monitors vendor contracts, and ensures tax compliance.
    • Manages accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoicing, payments, collections, and reconciliations.
    • Conducts bank account reconciliations and oversees training, performance evaluation, and HR liaison activities.
    • Assists with H2B recruiting, shared services monitoring, capital asset planning, and staff mentoring.
    • Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting and six to ten years of related experience with preference for CPA and CAM License.

    Physical Demands:

    Frequently involves sitting, using hands, reaching, talking, and hearing. Occasional standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

    Environment/Noise:

    Moderate noise level.

    Certificates/Licenses:

    CAM License and CPA License Preferred.

    Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

    • Ability to read and speak English may be required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
