    AKABA welcomes compassionate professionals to join our team as an ABA Therapist where you can play a pivotal role in fostering positive changes in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

    The position offers part-time hours with flexible scheduling

    AKABA works with clients between the ages of 2-22 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. We offer one-to-one ABA services in the home, center, and community-based settings.

    Offering Afternoon to Early PM Hours: Scheduling is flexible and based on client assignments. Sessions are usually on weekdays, during after-school hours, or anywhere between 2:30-8 pm.

    Weekend shifts are also available but not required.

    *Reliable, personal transportation is required as some clients need to be transported into the center and/or community settings.

    The position starts at $20-$23 per hour with paced opportunities to increase your rate by $1-$2 in the first 6 months.

    Travel Time Pay

    Mileage reimbursement when applicable

    We offer ongoing training and have indirect hours available for those pursuing their RBT or BCBA.

    Qualifications: ABA Therapists enjoy working with children and have an interest in the field of psychology. Knowledge of and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus, but not a requirement.

    Entry-level and Mid-level Positions

    We welcome RBT applicants and can provide supervision opportunities for Career Advancement if you decide to or are pursuing your BCBA credential.

    Additional qualifications for the ABA Therapists position include:

    • Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with children.
    • Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities (preferably Autism)
    • Ability to attend an initial orientation.
    • Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (after school hours between 3-8 p.m.)
    • Has reliable transportation
    • Must be timely and organized.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations.

    Responsibilities: ABA Therapists work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and are directly responsible for:

    • Data collection
    • Implementing individualized behavior support plans
    • Implementing skill acquisition programs
    • Working with families for effective collaboration on client
    • Submitting all required paperwork promptly
    • Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor


    Required education for an ABA Therapists

    • High school or equivalent

    Required license or certification:

    • Driver's License

    Job Location: Metro Worcester Area

    Required experience:

    • Working with Kids or Teens: minimum 6 months
