Join the AKABA team as an ABA Tech (or Behavior Therapist) and make a difference in lives of children with Autism**ABA Techs provide one-to-one ABA services in the home, community, and center to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities.

The AKABA team provides ongoing training to help equip you as a growing professional including:
_Free RBT course access_.- BCBA Supervision for those interested in obtaining their RBT certification or pursuing a BCBA career.
Schedule:
Consistent but _flexible_ scheduling for all ABA Techs or Behavior Therapists. Sessions are usually on weekdays during after-school hours but the exact timing is flexible and based on client assignments. Weekend shifts may also be available but are not required.

Responsibilities:
An ABA Tech or Behavior Therapist will work under the supervision of a BCBA and will be directly responsible for
- Data collection (using Company provided electronic device)
- Implementing individualized behavior support plans
- Implementing skill acquisition programs
- Working with families for effective collaboration on client
- Submitting all required documentation promptly
- Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor
Required Experiences for ABA Tech or Behavior Therapist:
- Working with Kids or Teens: minimum 6 months
- High school or equivalent
Drivers License
Other Qualifications for ABA Tech or Behavior Therapist:

Applicants should enjoy working with children, especially one-to-one
:
- Reliable, private transportation as some clients require transport to locations for 1:1 services
- Knowledge of and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
Friendly, energetic, and enjoys working with individuals diagnosed with disabilities:
- Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities (preferably Autism) is preferred.
- Ability to attend training with individual scheduling.
Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (after-school hours are usually between 3-8 p.m.)
- Must be timely and organized.
- Ability to work independently and within small group settings.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations.
