Insight Global is looking for an Information Technology Security Officer to support one of our higher education clients in Indiana.

The Information Technology Security Officer will be responsible for Indiana State University's total information security needs and is responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive information security strategy to optimize the security posture of the university.

The IT Security Officer leads the development and implementation of a security program that leverages collaborations and campus-wide resources, facilitates information security governance, advises the CIO/Senior Leadership on security direction and resource investments, and designs appropriate policies to manage information security risk.

This position acts as a security subject matter expert, representing the security needs and requirements to various constituents throughout Indiana State University.

The incumbent applies cross-disciplinary IT security knowledge to build IT systems that maintain the security of University data while striving to meet the open and collaborative spirit of a public university environment.
