    WHO IS MAMA'S ON THE HALF SHELL?

    In 2003, our opening day was the realization of five years of dreaming, discussing, and collecting. It is our hope that when our customers are with us, they feel welcomed into our home with open arms. There really is no average age at Mama's on the Half Shell, making our restaurant a true destination for great food and celebration. As native "Baltimoreans," we felt Baltimore needed a thoughtful, classic seafood restaurant. Our menu is important, but we also want our guests to come in and feel comfortable for any occasion, be it a business meeting, Sunday football, a birthday, an anniversary, or just some time out. Our restaurant is a place where you could "bring it or bring it down." We're the neighborhood bar that everyone wants to go to

    WHAT'S YOUR RECIPE?

    As a full- or part-time Line Cook - Seafood Restaurant Chef, you are vital to the operations of our kitchen. Our chefs cultivate the kitchen, and the kitchen determines the experience our guests have at our restaurant Teamwork is the name of the game as you work alongside other cooks. You prepare and cook each dish according to our restaurant's quality standards, making sure to accommodate specific requests from customers if they want things added or removed from the dish. As you work, you keep your work areas clean and prioritize food safety standards. You love food and take pride in cooking delicious, high-quality dishes


    WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

    • 2+ years of relevant culinary experience
    • Food handler's permit OR ability to acquire one
