    Founding AI Engineer - LLMs, Deep Learning

    We are currently partnered with a well-funded ($20mil) AI startup that is revolutionizing the way teams collaborate, share knowledge, and extract valuable insights from their interactions. Led by an experienced founding team with previous acquisitions, they are seeking a Founding AI Engineer to join the business and advance the technology that underpins their product to make this more intuitive and informative for their customers.

    As a Founding AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the technological foundation of our company and driving the development of AI solutions. You will work closely with the founding team to conceptualize, design, and implement innovative AI algorithms and systems that empower teams to work smarter and more efficiently.

    You will predominantly focusing on designing and implementing LLMs, natural language processing (NLP) algorithms and machine learning models to extract insights from unstructured data such as text, audio, and video. You will also develop chatbots, virtual assistants, and other conversational AI interfaces to facilitate seamless communication and information retrieval within teams.

    For this role, it is essential that individuals have experience in an early-stage startup previously - you must have experience building an ML product/feature from 0-1 and applying both existing and new algorithms to a product.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of building and deploying AI-powered applications or systems, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working with LLMs - GPT-3, LLama-2, Mistral or similar
    • Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with software development best practices and version control systems.

    This position will ultimately develop to a Head of AI role where you will have scope to build and grow a team as the company scale.
