You will be responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products within a startup environment

    What you'll do

    • Lead the technical direction for search / recommendation query services, search indexing, data mining, Search algorithms, Visual Search & deep learning in the context of the next generation Search & Discovery platform
    • Help build a highly scalable, highly available , performant & reliable Search & Discovery platform to index millions of videos, documents and other assets to facilitate knowledge retrieval
    • Developing and prototyping retrieval systems, working on a range of tasks including generating useful dense vectors and reranking
    • Influence in a technical capacity the roadmap for new features and solutions in the realm of Search & relevance to enhance user experience
    • Develop and scale data infrastructure that powers batch and real-time data processing, monitoring, and debugging for ML experiments
    • Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production.

    What we're looking for

    • Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, Java or Go
    • Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
    • Experience with implementing ML-based search systems such as query classification, recommendation, embedding based search or machine-learned ranking (MLR) search is a plus
    • Experience with deploying highly robust and scalable data pipelines processing petabytes of data using Hadoop, Spark etc.
    • Prior experience working with ML frameworks such as Pytorch, tensorflow would be a plus

    Preferred experience or exposure to the following technologies:

    • No-SQL databases like HBase/Cassandra/ Mongodb /CouchDB or others
    • Experience with enterprise-search platforms such as Apache Solr, Elastic
    • Real-time Ingestion systems like Apache Storm/Apache Flink/Kafka Streams
    • Big Data Offline Processing systems like Apache Spark, Pig, Hadoop or others
    • Prior experience working with Kubernetes and large scale data infrastructure
