    Overview:

    We're on the hunt for a Founding Frontend Developer - a visionary, a whiz at complex frontend architectures, and a maestro of React's inner workings. This role is not just about coding; it's about pioneering in a space where AI, state-of-the-art engineering, and groundbreaking design converge. You'll not only craft the front-end experiences that define our brand but also dabble in backend work to make sure our solutions are holistic (90% frontend / 10% backend). Based in San Francisco, this position is for those ready to dive deep, solve puzzles, and be part of building something revolutionary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Frontend Mastery: Build and optimize high-performance, visually captivating user interfaces using React, diving deep into animations, and styling with a discerning eye for design.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside designers, QA, and product teams to bring cohesive and impactful products to life.
    • Innovation and Design: Contribute to the creation of an AI-augmented design studio, ensuring our UI/UX not only meets but exceeds user expectations.
    • Backend Basics: Occasionally get your hands dirty with backend tasks - think REST API endpoints and database operations, ensuring a seamless full-stack experience.

    Your profile:

    • Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of frontend technologies, especially React, Typescript and Javascript, with an ability to optimize for both browser and virtual DOM performance.
    • Design Savvy: A keen interest in innovative designs, frameworks, and languages, with a talent for bringing creative visions to life through coding.
    • Problem Solver: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a capacity to work on complex challenges and deliver solutions.
    • Team Player: Ready to collaborate, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive team environment, while also being able to independently drive projects to completion.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in frontend development, with a portfolio to showcase.
    • Some familiarity with backend technologies and databases.
    • A track record of building engaging, high-performance user interfaces.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • No degree required. We hire based on passion, merit, and a drive to be the best.
