    Job Description

    LHH is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an opportunity to join an industry leader who has doubled in size in recent years and is on a growth trajectory to double again within the next five years. In this role, you will oversee the supply chain process including inventory control through shipping to global customers.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Lead a supply base to achieve quality, cost, delivery, and innovation benchmarks.

    · Manage resources to ensure smooth material flow from receipt to customer shipment.

    · Coordinate material and finished product movement between locations and to end customers.

    · Drive daily performance of warehouse and materials teams.

    · Communicate, support, and ensure daily expectations are met.

    · Conduct detailed cost and expenditure analyses, develop cost-saving initiatives, and meet cost reduction targets.

    · Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability within company guidelines.

    · Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.

    · Support Kanban and Kaizen activities.

    · Manage recruitment, hiring, and professional development of the supply chain team.

    · Stay informed about industry trends and market developments in relevant categories.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field is highly preferred

    · Minimum of 5 years of supply chain management or logistics management experience within a manufacturing setting is required

    · Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management role is required

    · Preference toward candidates with a Lean background or Six Sigma Belt

    · Strong Excel skills and understanding of ERP systems and RFI/RFQ sourcing processes is required

    · Must possess a track record of being a results-driven person who consistently meets and exceeds organizational goals

    · Must be a natural problem-solver who possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
