Job Summary:
The purpose of the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Communicates for the local plant and interfaces with plant manager, sales, finance, operations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must comply and support all applicable GMPs, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in the facilities GFSI food packaging safety program.
Lead the areas of Customer Service, Scheduling, LogisticsCreate, manage and monitor KPI's in the areas of customer service, scheduling and logisticsPlan and implement the DS Smith supply chain strategyIdentify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely mannerTrain, educate grow your team members, provide constructive feedbackWork with finance, sales, and manufacturing teams to determine optimal plansResponsible for updating and providing input to the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) processReview requirements for special promotionsLead internal processes related to new product qualification and launches to ensure timely transitions in material and production flowManaging the impact of changes to the system from a cost / service tradeoff perspectiveHighlight KPI measurements for accountability:

Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree in a Business Administration (Supply Chain Management, Logistic Operation Research, or Economics) or equivalent.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service or equivalent.5+ years of progressive work experience in Supply Chain with a history of demonstrated business success.
APICS certification preferredMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills are essential.Strong planning, financial, and analytical skills and proven ability to apply these with deft business acumen to complex situations with competing priorities.
Excellent networking, communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills with a proven ability to partner with senior leaders to understand needs and deliver solutions that exceeds expectations.
Proven track record of effectively managing othersProfessional experience that includes exposure to multiple business models and / or varying company settings.
High mix/Low Volume Supply Chain Management experience a plusDynamic team player with demonstrated ability to build and develop high performing teamsStrong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and effectively utilize Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends.
Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills.Kiwi and SAP systems expertise a plusBenefits:
