The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is a young and aspiring university and the only technical university in the state of Brandenburg.

In the Information, Communication and Media Center (IKMZ), in the IT Services department, the following position is available at the Cottbus campus as soon as possible:

The Application Systems department operates central IT systems for employees and students of BTU to support teaching, research, and administration.

This includes the campus management system (for managing enrollment processes, students, exam results, etc.), systems for personnel management, financial management, a central document management system, and the library system.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • You will be responsible for the administration of IT systems at the university. (These may include systems related to campus management, used for managing students, courses, or exam results.)
  • You will work on integrating the supported IT systems into the university's system landscape and continuously develop this integration.
  • You will work with users of the IT systems to design, implement, optimize, and further develop ITsupported processes.

Your qualifications:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor's / FH diploma) in computer science or business
