Description

Our client, a successful company in the field of ship engine construction with headquarters at the Hamburg port, is currently looking for an experienced purchaser (m/f/d) for turbines.

These are your tasks as a purchaser (m/f/d)

  • Managing the procurement of materials for the new turbine project, as well as optimizing the supply chain and achieving market readiness.
  • International procurement of products and components
  • Analyzing and evaluating markets and sources of supply
  • Conducting price negotiations and concluding individual and framework agreements
  • Coordinating and managing supplier relationships and evaluating them in terms of quality, cost, innovation, delivery, and sustainability

These are your qualifications as a purchaser (m/f/d)

  • You have a degree in business or engineering, business administration, or a comparable degree program
  • Alternatively, you have successfully completed a commercial or technical training with a qualification as a business economist or technician
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in this field
  • You have comprehensive expertise in negotiation and contract law
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
