    Description
    Responsibilities:

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess existing on-premises server infrastructure and determine migration requirements

    Design, plan, and execute the migration of on-premises servers to Azure cloud, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity

    Utilize advanced knowledge in SQL Server databases and SQL scripting to update databases and create tables, views, and procedures

    Prepare and submit accurate and timely client deliverables, including A/R analyses, biweekly reports, and ad hoc reports

    Demonstrate expert knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation

    Organize and transform large volumes of data to meet critical migration deadlines.

    Monitor and optimize Azure SQL databases and cloud infrastructure to ensure high performance

    Collaborate with development teams to coordinate server and application migrations.

    Document migration processes and provide training to team members as needed.

    Stay up-to-date with Azure cloud services and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements as required

    Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues

    Handle protected health information (PHI) daily with strict security and integrity

    Perform other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Education / Experience

    :

    BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

    Proven experience as a Data Analyst with expertise in SQL Server and Azure SQL

    Strong knowledge and skills in SQL Server relational databases, including SQL scripting

    Proficiency in Azure SQL and its integration within Azure cloud services

    Experience in server migration projects, especially on-premises to Azure cloud

    Expert knowledge of MS Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

    Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI

    In-depth understanding of Azure cloud services, networking, and security

    Familiarity with cloud monitoring and optimization best practices

    Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

    Azure certifications (e

    g, Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Data Analyst Associate) are a plus

    Working Conditions:

    Will work in high volume work environment that may require overtime as necessary

    May sit for long periods of time

    Primarily works inside throughout the year, but some travel to client locations may be required

    Typing and reading on a computer

    Communicating in person, through e-mail, telephone, and written correspondence

    Standing, stooping, pushing, reaching and pulling may be required
