- Assist with digital risk protection, threat intelligence, and social media monitoring utilizing OSINT, deep/dark web sources, industry tools, and MITRE ATT&CK Framework to monitor cyber and physical security risks and provide actionable intelligence.
- Monitor the cyber threat landscape for intelligence relevant to the organization's evolving business objectives.
- Maintain thorough documentation of cyber threats, threat vectors, threat actors, and threat trends for consumption during threat modeling activities and security incidents.
- Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and playbooks in the areas of cybersecurity, intelligence, and data protection.
- Issue and maintain badges and records for employees, contractors, and guests, as well as terminating access in accordance with documented policies within MLB's enterprise access control system (ACS)
- Maintain access control system datasets, including but not limited to, compiling reports, assisting with requests from internal teams, and reporting key metrics to leadership as requested
- Submit work orders for repairs and maintenance requests as needed
- Provide project leads with potential barriers that may impact a timely execution of a project
- Perform various administrative duties and other miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Completed or working towards a Masters or Bachelor's Degree in one of the following concentrations: Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or Law
- Demonstrated investigative experience using OSINT, social media sites, industry tools, and other sources is a plus.
- Understanding of malicious adversaries, threat groups, and campaigns, indicators of compromise (IOC), and highly granular tools, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while dealing with sensitive information
- Excellent organizational, time management, documentation, and communication skills

2024 Summer Internship Program - New York, United States - Major League Baseball
Description
Major League Baseball's Information Security based Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students interested in a career in sports with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations of baseball. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments, information sessions hosted by MLB senior management, and various additional events.The summer program runs from June 3rd to August 9th, 2024 and requires a minimum commitment of 10 weeks.
PURPOSE
Support the MLB Information Security team in the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the Major League Baseball Cybersecurity Program
RESPONSIBILITIES
A few considerations:
*MLB does not provide any form of relocation/housing assistance. Once hired, it will be up to the individual selected to find accommodations for the duration of the program.
