    Functieomschrijving
    Bij Klinkende Taal draait het allemaal om de technische mensen. Wij weten wat onze klanten nodig hebben en hebben een visie voor de toekomst. En dat hebben we vertaald in techniek. Het gaat er daarom vooral om dat onze technische mensen de beste oplossingen bedenken en maken. Onze directie snapt techniek en luistert naar wat onze experts daarover vertellen.
    Als onze producten het beste zijn, krijgen we meer klanten en zo groeien we. Ons specialisme is taaltechnologie voor het Nederlands. Dat ontwikkelen we helemaal zelf, combinaties van NN-machine learning, rule based systems en pattern matching. Daarnaast zijn wij ijzersterk in de harde IT-zaken die voor onze klanten belangrijk zijn: het maken van Microsoft Office Plugins, en het leveren van zeer stabiele software en services.
    Wij gebruiken o.a. deze tools en technieken:
    Docker, Git, Hibernate, Java, JSON (schema), Kubernetes, Maven, microservices, OpenAPI, PostgreSQL, REST, Scala, XML (schema), Akka, Azure, C/C++, Citrix, Gerrit, Gradle, Jenkins, Python, Rust, UIMA. Ook schrik je niet van (andere) technologieën.
    Wij vragen
    Jij wilt kwaliteit leveren en jezelf continu verbeteren. Wij hebben een ijzersterk kernteam van ontwikkelaars en gaan het team stevig uitbreiden. Een groter team zorgt voor meer kennis en snellere productontwikkeling. Alles draait daarbij om de kwaliteit van het product. Kwaliteit is wat wij ook van jou verwachten, telkens weer.
    Je hebt een universitaire opleiding afgerond in de informatica (AI, taaltechnologie of wiskunde kan ook) en ondertussen ruime werkervaring. Je sterke punten zijn:
    Ontwikkelen - dus specificeren, programmeren, documenteren en testen
    Nadenken - wat je doet, doe je met een reden
    Samenwerken - je weet wat je kunt en je luistert naar je collega's. En zij naar jou
    Techniek - je gaat voor performance en foutvrije, robuuste code die jaren meekan
    Beheer – je bent trots op wat jij maakt. Het werkt ook echt, met een makkelijke uitrol Klanten kunnen jouw software zorgeloos (blijven) gebruiken.

    Ons kantoor is gevestigd in een rijksmonument dicht bij het centrum van Amsterdam (dus goed bereikbaar; veel van onze medewerkers komen op de fiets of met de trein, maar we hebben ook eigen parkeerplaatsen). Hier is er veel ruimte voor informeel overleg (in onze grote open ruimte) en programmeren doen we in ruime, afgesloten werkkamers.
