    **Description**

    We are actively seeking an experienced Housekeeper to be responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting environment within our community. The ideal candidate for this role will have a pleasant, customer-focused demeanor and enjoy working with the senior population.

    **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    **Cleaning Functions**

    Clean residents bathrooms and common bathrooms as assigned

    Dust, vacuum and empty trash in residents rooms, entryways, hallways and common areas as scheduled

    Wash windows as scheduled

    Clean carpets and upholstery and move furniture to aid cleaning process

    Maintain a sufficient stock of cleaning supplies and load cleaning cart as necessary

    Ensure the cleaning cart is properly secured at all times

    **Residents Rights Functions**

    Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents rights at all times and report observed violations

    Observe residents and report concerns as necessary to the Supervisor In Charge (SIC)

    Assist or obtain assistance for residents when necessary

    Maintain positive communication and helpful attitude when interacting with residents, guests and co-workers

    **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:**

    Ability to resolve residents housekeeping needs in a timely and efficient manner

    Ability to follow verbal and written instructions for task completion

    Well groomed and ability to follow dress requirements

    Knowledge of safety and sanitary rules and requirements

    **QUALIFICATIONS:**

    High School diploma or equivalent preferred

    Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred

    Must be 18 years or older

    Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others

    Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
