CALIFORNIA, MD.**The Housekeeper is responsible for making certain the facility is maintained in a neat and clean fashion, ensuring that our customers have professional and comfortable surroundings, and providing support for events to ensure all events/training classes are successful


Minimum Qualifications:


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


Ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations; to operate assigned tools and housekeeping equipment; to work with chemicals and cleaning solutions; to understand and follow directions; to lift and transport supplies and refuse; to wear and work in personal protective equipment.


Other:


Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.

  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions, to understand and follow safety procedures, to operate vacuums and other related equipment, to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies, and to lift and manipulate heavy objects.

  • Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heaving lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is primary part (more than 70) of job. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
