    $22 - $25 (dependent on experience)


    Job Description

    Description:
    Sushi concept inside Urban Hawker Food Hall seeking sushi chef.

    Experience: 1- 3 years of experience in a comparable position.


    Role & Responsibilities:

    -     Complete opening and closing procedures in a timely manner.

    • Prepare dishes according to recipes and company standards.
    • Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in daily preparation.


    • Teamwork

    • Work with members of service team.
    • Organized, Detailed, Precise, Punctual & Reliable are Paramount.
    • Ensure cleanliness of the overall station.
    • Perform hourly, daily, weekly cleaning, and prep tasks.
    • Ability to maintain the highest standards Food Safety and Sanitation practices with attention to detail.
    • Having a positive attitude, being a team player and being presentable as a chef.

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role is preferred
    • Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and plating presentation
    • Familiarity with different types of fish and ingredients
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and work on multiple orders simultaneously
    • Strong attention to detail and food safety regulations

    Physical abilities:

    • Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds.
    • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
    • Ability to communicate well and maintain positive interpersonal relations with coworkers and guests.

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Evening shift
    • Restaurant opened Monday to Sunday
    • 5 to 6 days a week
