    Description

    Selby Jennings is partnering with an Investment Bank looking to bring on an Investment Banking Senior Analyst or Investment Banking Associate to join their Industrials team. This team has an extremely active pipeline resulting in a need for more junior execution staff.

    Ideal candidates are current Investment Banking Analysts or Associates, either located in the Minneapolis area or open to relocation to the area.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence, to support M&A transactions.
    • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, pitch presentations, and transaction documents.
    • Conduct industry research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for clients.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, legal advisors, and other investment banking professionals, to facilitate deal execution.
    • Support senior team members in client meetings, negotiations, and other aspects of the transaction process.
    • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential clients, participating in client meetings, and developing relationships with key industry players.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A transactions.
    • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
