    Description
    Hollings Cancer Center Clinic is a busy adult Oncology clinic that sees a wide variety of oncology patients.

    Our clinic team consists of RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and administrative assistants who work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality and safety of care for our patients.

    Each clinic workflow varies depending on the clinic, but includes working as a team that includes:
    patient triage, in-clinic procedures, assessments, patient education, medication administration, CVC line care, obtaining EKG, and care coordination.

    Team members work alongside providers (including physicians, PAs and NPs) during patient clinic visits to provide the needed care our patients deserve.

    4,000 sign on bonus for OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification through ONS (Oncology Nursing Certification).

    • 2,000 sign on bonus for non certified registered nurses
    • Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

    Job Summary/Purpose:
    The Clinic Lead Nurse reports to the Manager.

    Under general supervision, the Clinic Lead Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.

    The Clinic Lead Nurse works in coordination with the nursing leadership.

    This position ensures the achievement of optimal evidence-based patient care and department goals through efficient daily operations and compliance with established rules, regulations and guidelines.

    The Clinic Lead Nurse assists with providing leadership presence and staff support.

    Minimum Training and Education : Bachelor of Nursing degree and a minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse required.


    Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:

    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

    Frequent) Ability to perform "pinching" operations. (from/to floor from/to 36 inches unassisted. (For every 100 additional pounds, assistance will be required from another healthcare worker.
