- Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in modeling and simulation, algorithm analysis, or systems verification and validation
- Ability to work across stakeholder organizations
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with customers, office representatives, and system engineering groups
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: C++, Python, R, SQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, MATLAB, VBA, or STK
- Experience in modeling and simulation
- Previous experience in analysis support
- Familiarity with mission threats impact
- Experience with government satellite systems or space situational awareness
- Background in the NRO
- Familiarity with CONOPs, architecture products, or requirements
- Experience in supporting wargames and exercises

Title:
Modeling and Simulation Engineer KBR is looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to be part of our team.
The ideal candidate will be able to analyze space and ground systems, as well as support complex space systems modeling and simulation.
The activities include technical maturation analysis, requirements validation, algorithm verification and validation, and pre- and post-implementation algorithm analysis.
Responsibilities * Analyzing space systems, performance metrics, timelines, and models * Supporting modeling and simulation activities * Identifying and documenting issues affecting spacecraft and ground systems through objective analysis and processes * Assisting in technical maturation studies and presenting findings to the customer * Conducting pre- and post-algorithm implementation analysis and modeling * Assisting in algorithm verification and validation including tuning, testing, and integration planning * Supporting orbital analysis, threats assessments, trades, and analyses * Communicating technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences * Participating in system design reviews and technical meetings * Collaborating with customers, directorate/office representatives, and system engineering groups to address technical challenges * Creating and maintaining technical documentation and reportsMinimum Qualifications:
