    Welcome to Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) job opportunity!

    We are on the lookout for a skilled attorney to join our team in Houston, Texas. As part of Quanta Services, Inc., you will collaborate closely with management to provide legal advice on a wide range of matters. Reporting to QISG's Group General Counsel, your main focus will involve overseeing QISG's Procurement tasks and supporting the enterprise's supply-chain initiatives, particularly in EPC projects within the electric power sector. Your job title and compensation will be determined based on your experience and qualifications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and purchase orders.
    • Establish legal processes and templates for Procurement activities.
    • Offer legal guidance on international shipping and trade compliance.
    • Collaborate with the Procurement team on proposals and risk management.
    • Provide training on contract templates.
    • Support with contract issues, change orders, claims, and investigations.
    • Travel to various locations and project sites as needed.

    Required Experience and Education:

    • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
    • Valid license to practice law.
    • 5+ years of contract-related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of contract negotiation in engineering or construction.
    • Experience in international supply-chain activities.
    • Previous involvement in EPC projects.

    Skills Desired:

    • Analytical and detail-oriented.
    • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
    • Effective at managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    Travel Requirements:

    • Travel: 10-20% of the time.
