- Ensure accurate counting and tagging of merchandise.
- Verify temperature of inbound refrigerated goods.
- Conduct cycle counts and validate against stock status.
- Monitor stock status, prepare daily cut sheets, and address any discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized picking sheets and invoices.
- Answer phones, schedule inbound loads, and support the receiving process.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
- Keep warehouse clean and ensure safety standards are met.
- Support with generating reports and processing warehouse documents.
- Adhere to assigned schedule and work overtime as needed.
- 1-2 years of data entry experience required.
- Prior experience in a high-volume warehouse setting preferred.
- AS/400 and inventory control knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, Microsoft Office, and AS400.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
- Regularly sit, talk, and hear.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, and use hands for tasks.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and may need to kneel or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close and distance vision.
- Primary office work setting with exposure to warehouse conditions.
- Moderately quiet noise level; use of safety equipment may be required.
