    Position Overview:


    Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer specializing in Renewable Energy Land Development to join a dynamic team in California.

    As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, with a focus on land development and site engineering.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and execute renewable energy projects while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead the land development phase of renewable energy projects, including site selection, feasibility assessments, and land acquisition.

    Conduct thorough site evaluations, including topographic surveys, environmental assessments, and soil analyses, to identify optimal locations for renewable energy installations.

    Develop conceptual site layouts and engineering designs for solar, wind, and other renewable energy systems, considering factors such as terrain, geotechnical conditions, and project goals.

    Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including landowners, regulatory agencies, and engineering consultants, to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project development.

    Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-efficient project delivery.
    Provide technical expertise and support to project teams throughout the development lifecycle, from initial planning to construction and commissioning.

    Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to renewable energy land development, and incorporate best practices into project designs and strategies.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

    Minimum of 8 years of experience in renewable energy project development, with a focus on land development and site engineering.

    Strong knowledge of land development principles, including site assessment, grading, drainage, and erosion control.
    Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and other engineering design tools.
    Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and permitting processes for renewable energy projects in California.
    Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Professional Engineer (PE) license in California preferred.
