Description
We are thrilled to be partnering with a global CPG business based in Maryland.We're looking for a passionate, experienced Social Media Content Manager to work full-time on an initial 6-month contract. The start date is June 1st 2024.
There is a preference for the candidate to be based out of HQ on a hybrid model but we will also consider remote workers within the United States and Canada.
Reporting to the Senior Social Media Manager, this role is responsible for driving the overall strategy and content plan of all social media channels to increase engagement and drive 1:1 relationships with consumers.
They will also support crative campaigns with internal and external agency partners, and will manage one Social Media Community Specialist.
About the role:
Editorial Process – this person will lead all social media content planning to support various business objectives for the brand portfolio.
Social posts – both assets and copy – must meet best practices and align with brand tone of voice and buisiness objectives.
Social Content Development – the successful candidate will partner with internal stakeholders across copywriting, photography, videography, graphic design and animation and external agency stakeholders to develop compelling social content for both organic and paid social channels.
You will work across multiple global regions (US, CA, UK) and be responsible for engaging social communities around brands.Media – this person will have an active role in the media planning process and work closely with campaign leads to recommend content to be used in paid social campaigns.
Community Management – the successful candidate will manage one Social Community SpecialistAnalytics and Reporting – quarterly reporting for senior leadership on insights such as average engagement rate, total impressions and total follower growth across all brands and social platforms.
About you:
You are a passionate, entrepreneurial social media manager with a natural affinity for all things content and trends across the socials landscape
Min. 4 years' related experience including internships
Demonstrative ability to conceptualise, create, edit and ship short form video content for e.g Tiktok and Reels and static content
Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite and Canva
Creative and curious – you are someone who takes the initiative and understands that time is of the essence when jumping on trends, and is excited to film and edit their own content for assets
Commerical – you are as business-oriented as you are creative, and are adept at translating analytics and insights into commercial actions
Leadership – you are comfortable engaging with stakeholders of all levels of seniority, and are excited to manage your own direct report
Industry experience – ideally you have experience in-house in the CPG industry and are comfortable with paid social media campaigns
