- Coordinate frequencies in support of all Apache-related test and initial fielding activities.
- Obtain and maintain access to a SIPR account for corresponding with DOD spectrum and frequency management agencies.
- Coordinate scope and funding requirements for Redstone Frequency Management annual support.
- Track status of all Apache-related Radio/Temporary Frequency Authorizations (RFAs/TFAs) and submit new RFA/TFA requests as required.
- Remain current with training associated with Army and DOD spectrum management processes and requirements.
- Assist PM personnel in developing contractual requirements associated with spectrum management and other technical efforts to include primarily Statement of Work development.
- Work with User Community to develop technical requirements.
- Coordinate with PM and Systems Readiness Directorate to achieve Airworthiness Qualification for aircraft components as required.
- Keep PM informed of technical status of assigned tasks, significant events, controversial issues, program reviews, and other relevant issues.
- Be able to meet challenging deadlines.
- Travel is estimated at 10%
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least eight (8) years of experience in Systems Engineering
- Understanding of current DoD acquisition framework and procedures
- Working knowledge of AH-64 aircraft systems, weapons systems as well as systems engineering processes and procedures is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must to facilitate coordination with configuration management, contracts, outside contractors/vendors, engineers, the Apache User community, and project/program leadership.

IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Frequency Spectrum Management Engineer supporting the Mission Equipment organization in the Apache Attack Helicopter Project Management Office (AAH-PMO) based in the Huntsville, AL area. This position will serve as the spectrum management focal point for the AH-64D/E within the AAH-PMO. The candidate for this position must be able to work independently, often acting without direct supervision, and be able to build strong relationship across multiple project offices with all levels of government employees.
Job Responsibilities:
Salary range is $120,000 to $170,000 based on degree and experience.
