- Provide technical leadership to mechanical design engineers in our Rocket Motor Systems organization
- Implement and enforce current policies and procedures, and develop new ones as needed
- Be a front-line people manager for a team of mechanical design engineers.
- Peer review engineering product definition, structural and thermal analysis.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines on cross-disciplinary items
- Establish best practices for the RMS Hardware organization.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience with the design, development, and manufacture of solid rocket motors.

- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance US Salary Range$106,000—$159,000 USD

As the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will manage a team of mechanical design and analysis engineers working various SRM programs. Responsibilities will include technical leadership and oversight of the work being performed in your group, as well as people management responsibilities. The right person for this role has direct, hands-on experience with the design, analysis, and manufacture of solid rocket motors and their key subsystems, such as motor cases, nozzles, propellant grains, and igniters.
