    Description
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Office Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks to support warehouse operations. This role requires communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. An ideal candidate complies and maintains records of quality, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in the establishment and manages shipping and receiving functions by performing the following duties.

    salary: $20 - $21 per hour
    shift: Second
    work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM
    education: High School

    Responsibilities
    • Converts sales orders to pick tickets.
    • Converts pick tickets to pack slips.
    • Expedites unfinished orders to meet promised delivery dates.
    • Prepares packing slips: listing items sold, amounts due, and dates of shipment.
    • Inspect pick tickets for processed orders and verify all instructions are completed correctly.
    • Adjusts inventory balances to reflect shipped orders.
    • Examines outgoing packing slips to ensure shipments meet specifications.
    • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
    • Compiles completes order packet to ensure accuracy in record- keeping/ billing.
    • Investigates reasons for RMA's (returning of merchandise) and determines liability for return.
    • Verifies materials being transferred from one branch to another to match requests.
    • Compiles records of unfilled orders
    • Posts weight and shipping charges
    • Posts transactions to accounting database.
    • Adjusts errors and complaints on shipped material.
    • Post totals to inventory records for material and merchandise in stock.

    • Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
