    Job Description

    1. Strategic Sourcing:
    2. Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and co-manufacturing requirements.
    3. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing.
    4. Continuously assess market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry dynamics to optimize procurement strategies.
    5. Supplier Management:
    6. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    7. Monitor supplier performance, conducting regular evaluations to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and cost standards.
    8. Address any supplier-related issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
    9. Cost Optimization:
    10. Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or service levels.
    11. Implement cost-saving initiatives such as supplier consolidation, value engineering, and alternative sourcing strategies.
    12. Work closely with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and minimize procurement expenses.
    13. Quality Assurance:
    14. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Compliance teams to establish and enforce rigorous quality standards for all procured materials.
    15. Conduct supplier audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    16. Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality processes, leveraging data-driven insights and performance metrics.
    17. Contract Management:
    18. Manage supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
    19. Monitor contract expiration dates and renewal opportunities, renegotiating terms as needed to align with evolving business needs.
    20. Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to mitigate contractual risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
    21. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    22. Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to align procurement activities with production schedules, inventory requirements, and product development initiatives.
    23. Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to drive synergy and efficiency across the co-manufacturing process.

      The Successful Applicant

    24. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    25. Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within the Food and Beverage industry, with specific experience in co-manufacturing operations.
    26. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
    27. Solid understanding of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements within the Food and Beverage sector.
    28. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    29. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    30. Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. What's on Offer

      Target compensation for the Procurement Manager is $120,000 - $140,000 base salary + 15% bonus and equity. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
