POSITION DETAILS
CUNY School of Law, a part of the City University of New York, a nationally acclaimed three-year law school, located in one of New York City's most diverse boroughs, seeks to hire two(2) qualified individuals for the role of Admissions Coordinator.
Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management and Admission, the Admissions Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting the Recruiters, the Director of Admissions, and the Assistant Dean in recruitment and admissions related tasks.
The Coordinator will also work closely with the Director of Career Services and Alumni Relations to engage alumni in recruitment efforts.
The position requires frequent travel within and outside of New York City to represent CUNY School of Law at recruitment and alumni events.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Admissions Coordinator will be expectedto:- Participate in coordinating CUNY Law's recruitment and strategic plans and programs in support of a strategy to identify, attract, admit and enroll a highly-qualified and diverse student body
- Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of CUNY's programs and degreerequirements
- Coordinate and contribute to student recruiting activities such as group sessions both on-campus and virtual, direct recruiting, and outreach events at high schools, colleges and in the community.
- Provide support in identifying sources of qualified applicants (such as academic departments, prospective employers, undergraduate schools, alumni, and community and professional organizations) and developing ties with them to promote their involvement in recruitment
- Maintain and assist in producing recruitment and admissionsmaterials-
- Maintain a tracking system for student records and inquiries, applicants both admitted and enrolled, official transcripts and enter student immunization data into CUNYfirst.
- Coordinate administrative and logístical aspects of recruitment and admissions events, which might include career services and alumni events, including room scheduling and reservation, materials, AV, food, staffing and other related needs
- Maintain, update, and oversee the CUNY Law School Admissionswebsite
- Track recruitment and admissions related expenditures in CUNYFirst (OraclePeopleSoft)
- Establish strong relationships with the our CUNY Dual Degree Programs and our alumni network group to coordinate the program and engage alumni for recruitment events
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
PreferredQualifications:
- Two years of relevant work experience, such as in higher education, student admissions, recruitment, student affairs, or a related field.
- Expertise in creation and manipulation of data inExcel.
- Strong verbal, and written communication and presentation skills. Bilingual aplus.
- Excellent planning, organizational and problem solvingskills.
- Ability to work equally well independently and as a member of a team; must be very detailedoriented.

Coordinates efforts of admissions and/or enrollment offices.- Coordinates workshops, intake screenings, interviews and orientations for new students Assists in conducting open house sessions and orientations, including group sessions and programs at high schools and in the community at large- Assists with day-to-day administration and an admissions or enrollment office, including scheduling and preparing and distributing materials- Represents the Admission Office to the college's internal and external communities as directed- Maintains and updates program databases, lists and files to ensure completeness and accuracy- Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$57,517-$65,946
