    Engagement Consultant Position at Cigna

    The Engagement Consultant role at Cigna involves driving wellness program development, guidelines, and delivery to Cigna Select Buyer Group Clients. Working with clients with diverse employee populations, the consultant identifies the appropriate wellness programs to educate, engage, and activate employees to achieve health improvement goals. Collaboration with the account management team is essential to recommend the optimal delivery and coordination of wellness programs and monitor their effectiveness.

    The primary goal is to promote wellness initiatives that educate and influence employees at the worksite to adopt healthy lifestyles and enhance consumerism among employees to achieve customer-centric utilization objectives.

    The position entails consulting with employers and brokers to develop strategic health engagement plans, spearhead customer engagement initiatives, and educate customers on becoming better healthcare consumers. The Engagement Consultant also plays a role in presenting benefit plan designs to customers at annual open enrollment meetings.

    The Sr. Analyst Engagement Consultant will conduct research and respond to health information and wellness inquiries from clients, proactively communicate changes, problems, and issues, and serve as a liaison between various departments and external parties. Standard techniques, professional knowledge, and creation of reports and analysis are key aspects of the role.

    **Must be able to work onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with Monday and Friday designated as work-from-home days.**

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess client's employee health challenges and objectives to design a strategic wellness program tailored to their workforce, goals, and budget
    • Consult with clients on the optimal framework for an effective wellness program, including leadership support, a wellness committee, incentive structure, and organizational wellness policies
    • Collaborate with sales partners to identify product penetration opportunities, sales of ancillary products, and strategies to maximize membership
    • Analyze and evaluate client communication and wellness strategies for effectiveness and impact on claims, utilization, biometric data, and engagement
    • Manage assigned book of business and client wellness fund provided by Cigna, if applicable
    • Deliver presentations to clients and brokers on Cigna's health and wellness offerings, approach, and results
    • Present Cigna employee benefits to new and renewing groups annually
    • Refer questions and issues to appropriate Cigna resources, provide support to Sales growth, and persistency targets

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in client-facing corporate health promotion program design
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to foster collaboration and gain support for proposals
    • Experience in a matrixed environment
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to present in group settings using technology platforms
    • Willingness to travel to local and remote clients as needed
    • Bachelor's Degree in health-related field preferred
    • Life and Health Producers license preferred
    • Ability to obtain Life and Health Producers license within one year
    • Valid Driver's License required
