- Assists in the daily course of treatment for new and existing clients presenting for services
- Taking and recording client vital signs
- Monitoring clients on close observation, according to protocol
- Appropriately utilize verbal and physical intervention techniques
- Guides and participates in client therapy in a safe and structured setting
- Readily develops and establishes therapeutic relationships with clients
- Prepares written documentation and record-keeping for assigned clients
- Transports clients to and from area hospitals for medical clearance, and to other facilities for placement
- Provides assistance to clients who present for services
- Assemble new charts properly , Check for completeness of paperwork, Ensure clients belongings are checked in according to protocol, Effectively communicate client rights and responsibilities upon admission
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Have a Valid Florida Driver's License with 6 points or less in the last 5 years
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be able to apply Therapeutic Effective Aggression Management Techniques without limitations.
