Minimum Qualifications
_Electronics Technician I_
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, plus two (2) years experience in repair and maintenance of electronics such as communications, computer and peripheral or control and instrumentation equipment.
- Twelve (12) semester hours of college credit in electronics, communications technology, engineering technology, computer science or related field may substitute for one year of the required experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- None.
_Electronics Technician II_
Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent plus three (3) years experience in repair and maintenance of electronics such as communications, computer and peripheral or control and instrumentation equipment.
- Twelve (12) semester hours of college credit in Electronics, Communications Technology, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience up to a maximum of two (2) years.
