Alaska Village Electric Cooperative (AVEC) is a unique electric generation and distribution cooperative, serving 59 communities across Alaska.

Our operation spans 46 small, isolated grids relying on a mix of diesel, wind, and solar generation to power 11,513 meters and maintain 515 miles of distribution line.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

You will be utilizing your strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively while upholding our commitment to safety and integrity.

With regular 8-hour workdays from Monday to Friday, occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results for our customers.

To excel in the role of Project Manager at Alaska Village Electric Cooperative, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or a related discipline along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
