Job Summary:

The Mobile Service Technician at Kelly Ford in Beverly, Massachusetts will be responsible for performing mobile vehicle repairs, maintenance, and services for our customers' vehicles.

This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry, specifically in the skilled labor/contractor field.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and repair processes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently to provide high-quality service to our customers.

This position offers a competitive salary of $30 to $40 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:

Travel to assigned locations to perform mobile vehicle repairs, maintenance, and services for customers' vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Repair and replace faulty parts and components in vehicles
Communicate with customers to explain repair recommendations and answer any questions they may have
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each repair/service
Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts and supplies
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and repair processes
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle issues
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must have own tools
Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
Availability to work weekends and afterhours as needed
ASE certifications preferred
