    Description

    We are currently assisting in looking for a Part-Time Group Health Benefits Administrator to join our clients established and growing independent agency.

    *This position does require a Health and Life Insurance license.

    o Monday – Friday: 9am – 2:00pm

    *MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare new proposals and renewals for clients
    • Handle correspondence and clerical processing of accounts
    • Help clients make coverage changes
    • Create and maintain relationships with new and existing clientele
    • Educate clients, as well as agents, about policy coverage and carrier updates
    • Answer phones
    • Additional support duties as requested
    *QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

    Education:
    HS Diploma, *Higher Education Preferred*License: Required


    Experience:
    Minimum 2 years customer service experience;

    *Must have Insurance industry experience

    *KEY COMPETENCIES:

    • Knowledge and Understanding of the Health Care and Health Insurance Market
    • Knowledge and Understanding of Medicare Market
    • Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word among other Industry Based Management Programs
    • Ability to Multi-task
    • Organizational and Problem Solving Skills
    • Ability to Communicate well with Producers, Clients, and Carrier Representatives
    • Self-Motivated with a Positive, Can-Do Attitude
    • Work Well in a Team Environment
