- Work with third-party service provider to oversee K-1 compilation to ensure accuracy and completeness of the tax documents gathered and analyzed for tax returns and K-1s.
- Detail review tax workpapers/allocations, Fund K-1s and tax returns prepared by third party provider.
- Review Federal, State, or International tax notices and coordinate internally to make payments to various tax authorities or help resolve notices as necessary
- Assist with Federal and State tax audits as applicable
- Participate in regular meetings and communicate with external vendor to ensure timely deliverables.
- Monitor and update trackers and keep Manager up-to-date of status and elevate any concerns or hurdles to ensure they are addressed during the tax lifecycle to ensure the team is on track to meet the tax compliance deadlines throughout the year
- Perform tax research including Federal, State and local, and International, and stay current with regulatory tax law changes applicable to the Funds.
- Learn how to work as part of the Fund Solutions team to support Senior Management and take on additional tasks or projects as needed.
- 3-5 years public accounting or Tax experience in Hedge Fund and Private Equity Industry strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, Tax, or a related field
- State local or international tax experience is a plus
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (will include Boston in-office and remote work).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Fund Solutions Tax Senior Position
Cambridge Associates (CA) is looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join Fund Solution team located in Boston, MA.
Fund Solution is a growing team, acting as a key component on the Fund business for a wide range of clients and colleagues.
The Tax Senior will be a core member of the Fund Solutions Tax Operations group with core responsibilities including, but not limited to:reviewing tax compliance deliverables, coordinating with internal teams and external service providers, and managing tax cycles to ensure the team meets all Federal, State, and International tax filing deadlines.
This role will have the opportunity to assist with various special projects including process improvement projects aimed to increase overall team efficiency.
In this role, the candidate can expect to get involved in various tax issues related to Fund tax structuring, fund-of-fund tax compliance, and private equity tax allocations.
