    Job Description

    Duties & Essential Job Functions:

    1. Take Head count at the beginning of shift

    2. Administer medicine at scheduled times to clients

    3. Check each floor ever 2-4 hours as needed.

    4. Assign household chores to residents.

    5. Monitor client's rooms for cleanliness.

    6. Ensure that all clients are properly respecting and maintaining common areas (esp. kitchen, living room, etc.).

    7. Monitor that residents are following house rules including curfew/lights out hours.

    8. Observe and report any unusual behaviors or potential areas of conflict between clients

    9. Monitor proper use and functioning of appliances and other household equipment.

    10. Observe any unusual activities that may pose a safety or nuisance issue for the clients or neighbors.

    11. Maintain inventory of all household supplies (i.e. cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, furniture, household keys etc.).

    12. Review Program and House Rules with all new residents and ensure client compliance with house rules.

    13. Welcome and introduce new clients to all existing clients.

    14. Communicate in a culturally sensitive manner as our client population is diverse.

    Special Requirements:

    • No staff or client can sleep in the common areas.
    • No staff can engage with the clients in any games, and evasive conversations (i.e. profanity and threatening.
    • No client is authorized off of their main floor after the house is closed for the day.
    • No client is allowed in the common areas while the house is closed.
