Duties

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients

Prepare and package medications for distribution

Maintain inventory of medications and supplies

Enter prescription information into software.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients.

Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

-A two year minimum of compounding experience is REQUIRED.

High school diploma or equivalent

Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience

Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) is preferred

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations

Familiarity with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing quality patient care. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, interact with patients and healthcare professionals, and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
